Projekt "Zeleni filmski vikend" dio je programa "Distribute this-GREEN EDITION" kojeg provodi Little Red Dot, uz financijsku podršku Grada Rijeke, HAVC-a-Hrvatskog audiovizualnog centra i Društva hrvatskih filmskih redatelja. Partneri u projektu su udruga Filmaktiv, Desk Kreativne Europe – Ured MEDIA Hrvatske, IKA-Istarska kulturna agencija i Istarski filmski ured, uz gostovanje Green Filma i Trentino Film Commissiona. The "Green Film Weekend" will be held in Pazin on December 2 and 3 this year. With the help of experts in "green filming", participants will learn about the development of trends, examples of successful implementation of sustainable practices in film production, and explore how the European film industry can become a global leader in creating more sustainable and responsible art. Now, more than ever before, sustainable filming is not just a trend, but a necessity for the future of the film industry that wants to leave a positive and lasting mark on both: the world of art and the environment.
During the "Green Film Weekend", the future of sustainable filming in the European context will be explored and how the latest policies and guidelines are shaping the path towards sustainable practices in the film industry.
Being conditioned by an increasing focus on sustainability, new European policies in "green filming" are not only changing the rules of the game in the film industry, but also shaping the way film projects are financed. This transformation opens the door to innovative approaches in financing models and places sustainability as a key component when evaluating and approving projects.
