DKE – Ured MEDIA Hrvatske ponosno objavljuje 10 projekata te imena polaznika za sudjelovanje na radionici 'Let's pitch some shorts!' koja će se održavati od 1. do 3. srpnja o.g. na Sveučilištu VERN' u Zagrebu te pitching forumu koji će se održati s početkom u 10:30 sati 4. srpnja o.g. u kinu Kaptol Cinema Boutique u Zagrebu.
Za sudjelovanje na radionici i pitching forumu pristiglo je ukupno 67 prijava, a odabrani su sljedeći projekti:
Za provedbu radionice zadužena je iskusna i renomirana njemačka filmska producentica Roshanak Behesht Nedjad (njezin posljednji film 'Misija Ulja Funk' premijerno je prikazan 2021. u sklopu programa Generation, Međunarodnog filmskog festivala u Berlinu). Behesht Nedjad je članica Europske i Njemačke filmske akademije te diplomantica i mentorica najpoznatijega europskog edukativnog programa za filmske producente EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs.
Žiri, koji čine Morana Ikić Komljenović (producentica / Little Red Dot), Laurent Crouzeix (voditelj događanja Euro Connection / Međunarodni filmski festival u Clermont Ferrandu), Kenan Musić (producent i direktor Omladinskog Film Festivala Sarajevo) te Chiara Bardella (Sayonara Film) odlučit će o dodjeli financijskih nagrada. Glavna nagrada za najbolji pitching iznosi 3000 eura, dok je druga financijska nagrada u iznosu od 1500 eura pod pokroviteljstvom OFF Pro Film Marketa Sarajevo, projekta Omladinskog Film Festivala Sarajevo, ujedno i najvećeg filmskog marketa za kratki film u ovom dijelu Europe.
Također, jedan će hrvatski projekt biti odabran za direktno sudjelovanje u sklopu Baltic Pitching Foruma.
Osim toga, u suradnji s organizatorima European Short Pitcha predviđena je nagrada u kontekstu konzultantskih usluga, dok će Chiara Bardella u ime producentske i distribucijske tvrtke Sayonara Film jednom od projekata dodijeliti nagradu razrade festivalske i/ili distribucijske strategije.
U sklopu pitching foruma prikazat će se i dobitnik Zlatne palme u sklopu ovogodišnjeg 77. izdanja Međunarodnog filmskog festivala u Cannesu - kratki film 'Čovjek koji nije mogao šutjeti' čiji scenarij i režiju potpisuje Nebojša Slijepčević, a producenti su Katarina Prpić i Danijel Pek iz Antitalenta u koprodukciji s producentskim kućama iz Bugarske, Francuske i Slovenije.
Radionica i pitching forum organizirani su u suradnji s DKE – Uredima MEDIA iz Hrvatske, Grčke, Gruzije i Srbije zajedno s Malteškom udrugom producenata te Ministarstvom kulture Republike Cipar.

CED - MEDIA Office Croatia proudly announces that 10 projects as well as participants have been selected to participate in the workshop 'Let's pitch some shorts' taking place 01-04/07/ 2024 at the University VERN’ in Zagreb, including the pitching forum, to be held on 04/7/2024 starting at 10:30 AM at the Kaptol Cinema Boutique in Zagreb.
A total of 67 applications were received for participation in the workshop and pitching forum, and the following projects were selected:
The experienced and renowned German film producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad (her last film Mission Ulja Funk premiered 2021 at Berlinale Generation) will oversee the implementation of the workshop. Behesht Nedjad is a member of the European and German Film Academy and an alumna and mentor at the most famous European training programme for film producer, EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs.
The jury, consisting of Morana Ikić Komljenović (producer / Little Red Dot), Laurent Crouzeix (Head of Euro Connection / International Film Festival in Clermont Ferrand), Kenan Musić (producer and director of the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival) and Chiara Bardella (Sayonara Film) will decide on the awarding of financial awards. The main prize for the best pitching is in the amount of 3000 EUR, while the second financial prize in the amount of 1500 EUR is under the auspices of OFF Pro Film Market Sarajevo, a project of the Sarajevo Youth Film Festival, which is also the largest film market for short films in this part of Europe. Finally, one Croatian project will be selected for direct participation as part of the Baltic Pitching Forum.
In addition, in cooperation with the organizers of the European Short Pitch, an award is planned in the context of consulting services, while Chiara Bardella, on behalf of the production and distribution company Sayonara Film, will award one of the projects the festival and/or distribution strategy.
As part of the pitching forum, we will screen the winner of the Palme d'Or of the 77th edition of the Cannes IFF - the short film 'The Man Who Couldn't Remain Silent', written and directed by Nebojša Slijepčević, and produced by Katarina Prpić and Danijel Pek from Antitalent, in co-production with production companies from Bulgaria, France and Slovenia.
The workshop and pitching forum are co-organised by Creative Europe MEDIA Desks in Croatia, Georgia, Greece, and Serbia, in collaboration with the Malta Producers’ Association and Deputy Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus.
