Panel rasprava 'Filmska pismenost u školama – Od filmske pismenosti do razvoja publike: Kako dovesti mlade u kina' održana je 14. rujna u Karlovcu, u sklopu simpozija European Film Factoryja, a u okviru programa 28. Filmske revije mladeži i 16. Four River Film Festivala u organizaciji Hrvatskog filmskog saveza i Kinokluba Karlovac. Svrha panel rasprave bila je identificirati ključne uloge i stanje filmske pismenosti u Europi te naglasiti važnost filmskog obrazovanja, doprinoseći razvoju publike diljem Europe.
U raspravi su sudjelovali stručnjaci iz Hrvatske: Maja Vukić, pomoćnica ravnatelja Hrvatskog audiovizualnog centra (HAVC), Martina Petrović, voditeljica Deska Kreativne Europe – Ured MEDIA Hrvatske te Tatjana Aćimović, tajnica Hrvatskog filmskog saveza, kao i međunarodni panelisti koji su podijelili svoja iskustva i inicijative vezane uz filmsko obrazovanje: Clémentine Charlemaine (Francuska) iz udruge Cinema pour tous i dopredsjednica organizacije Collectif 50/50; Mikk Granström (Estonija), direktor Tallinn Black Nights Film Festivala i direktor programa Dječjeg festivala Just Film i Marion Czarny (Francuska) iz FIPADOC Campusa – međunarodnog festivala dokumentarnog filma. Panel je moderirao filmski kritičar, novinar i profesor doc. dr. sc. Boško Picula.
Program European Film Factory (EFF) pokrenuli su 2019. Institut français, ARTE Education i European Schoolnet, uz potporu potprograma MEDIA programa Kreativna Europa, a predstavlja inovativan i praktičan pristup promicanju filmske pismenosti u Europi i izvan njezinih granica. Ovaj program omogućuje učenicima/studentima od 11 do 25 godina, kao i nastavnicima i kulturnim posrednicima koji rade s mladom publikom iz svih zemalja Europe, besplatni pristup katalogu europskih filmova od 1954. do 2014. godine, kao i pristup novijim europskim kratkim filmovima, uz pedagoška pomagala.

The panel discussion 'Film literacy in schools - From film literacy to Audience Development: How to bring young people to the cinema' was held on September 14 in Karlovac, as part of the European Film Factory symposium, within the program of the 28th Youth Film Review and the 16th Four River Film Festival organized by the Croatian Film Association and Cinema Club Karlovac. The purpose of the panel discussion was to identify the key roles and state of film literacy in Europe and to emphasize the importance of film education, contributing to the development of audiences across Europe.
Experts from Croatia participated in the discussion: Maja Vukić, assistant director of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC), Martina Petrović, head of the Creative Europe Desk - MEDIA Office Croatia, and Tatjana Aćimović, secretary of the Croatian Film Association, as well as international panelists who shared their experiences and initiatives related to film education: Clémentine Charlemaine (France) from the association Cinema pour tous and vice-president of the organization Collectif 50/50; Mikk Granström (Estonia), director of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and program director of the Just Film Children's Festival and Marion Czarny (France) from FIPADOC Campus – an international documentary film festival. The panel was moderated by film critic, journalist, and professor Assoc. Ph.D. Boško Picula.
The European Film Factory (EFF) program was launched in 2019 by the Institut français, ARTE Education and European Schoolnet, with the support of the MEDIA Subprogram of the Creative Europe program and represents an innovative and practical approach to promoting film literacy in Europe and beyond its borders. This program allows pupils/students aged 11 to 25, as well as teachers who work with young audiences from all European countries, free access to the catalog of European films dated from 1954 to 2014, as well as access to recent European short films, with pedagogical aids.
