The 12th edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum has revealed which short film projects will be pitched to a panel of international experts at the event which runs from October 8-11, 2024, in Vilnius.

Baltic Pitching Forum objavio je koji će projekti kratkih filmova biti predstavljeni panelu međunarodnih stručnjaka na događanju koje će se održati od 8. do 11. listopada 2024. u Vilniusu.

Pokrenut 2013. godine, BPF okuplja producente iz Litve, Latvije, Estonije i šire s novim kratkim projektima te ih upoznaje s profesionalcima iz industrije i pruža im intenzivnu obuku za pitching i neprocjenjivo vodstvo jedan na jedan. Uz brojne utjecajne osobe iz filmske industrije, koje su prisutne kako bi promatrale i davale povratne informacije o predloženim projektima, događaj ima za cilj ne samo unaprijediti znanje i vidljivost sudionika, nego i potencijalno olakšati mogućnosti uspješne koprodukcije. Na nadolazećem izdanju Baltic Pitching Foruma Hrvatska će biti zemlja gost.

Odabrani sudionici sudjelovat će na četverodnevnom programu usavršavanja i pitching događaju koji uključuje sesije s mentoricom Gabriele Brunnenmeyer, ekskluzivne sastanke jedan na jedan sa stručnjacima i razne mogućnosti umrežavanja. Osim toga, sudionici će imati pristup dodatnim događajima – predavanjima, panelima, prezentacijama i izlaganjima bivših studenata.

Za sudjelovanje na ovogodišnjem izdanju Baltic Pitching Foruma odabrani su sljedeći projekti:

  • Žaba u vrućoj vodi (redateljica Sara Alavanić, producentica Lucija Perić), Hrvatska
  • Samo jedna stvar (redateljica Daria Stilin, producentica Maja Gros), Hrvatska
  • To (ni)je tvoje (redatelj Carlos Santiago Ordoñez, producentica Edina Csüllög), Estonija
  • Pjesma o kruhu (redateljica Katariina Aule, producent Andreas Kask), Estonija
  • Saivo (redateljica Alesja Suzdaltseva, producent Magnus Kristiansen), Estonija
  • Dječak sa zviždaljkom (redatelj Jāzeps Podnieks, producentica Emīlija Mikalauska), Latvija
  • Fen Fire (redateljica Ieva Aleksa, producent Filips Rudolfs Smits), Latvija
  • 11 duhova Fanny (redateljica/producentica Una Rozenbauma), Latvija
  • Madonna Strašna (redateljica Elžbieta Latėnaitė, producentica Greta Akcijonaitė), Litva
  • Suez (redatelj Martynas Norvaišas, producentica Ieva Černiauskaitė), Litva
  • Suze zvjezdane prašine (redateljica Vilma Razmutė, producentica Giedrė Burokaitė), Litva

Žiri baltičkih producenata, koji se sastoji od tri iskusna producenta iz Estonije, Latvije i Litve, odabrat će najbolji projekt kratkog filma i dodijeliti mu nagradu Baltic Producers MEDIA Award u iznosu od 1000 eura.

Baltic Pitching Forum organizira litavska agencija za kratki film Lithuanian Shorts, koju financira Litavsko vijeće za kulturu u suradnji s Međunarodnim festivalom kratkog filma u Rigi 2ANNAS, Riga IFF i PÖFF Shorts (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival).

Projekt financiraju Litavski filmski centar, Udruga za zaštitu autorskih prava audiovizualnih djela AVAKA i Gradska općina Vilniusa. Partneri su DKE – Uredi MEDIA u Estoniji, Latviji, Litvi i Hrvatskoj, Talijanski centar za kratki film i Filmski ured u Vilniusu.

The 12th edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum has revealed which short film projects will be pitched to a panel of international experts at the event which runs from October 8-11, 2024, in Vilnius.

Launched in 2013, BPF brings together producers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and beyond with new short projects, introduces them to industry professionals and provides them with intensive pitch training and invaluable one-on-one guidance. With a number of influential figures from the film industry present to observe and provide feedback on proposed projects, the event aims to not only improve the knowledge and visibility of participants, but also potentially facilitate opportunities for successful co-productions. At the upcoming edition of the Baltic Pitching Forum, Croatia will be a guest country.

Selected participants will participate in a four-day training program and pitching event, which includes sessions with mentor Gabriele Brunnemeyer, exclusive one-on-one meetings with experts and various networking opportunities. Moreover, participants will have access to additional events – lectures, panels, presentations, and alumni showcases.

The following projects are selected to participate at this year’s edition of Baltic Pitching Forum:

  • Madonna Terrible (director Elžbieta Latėnaitė, producer Greta Akcijonaitė), Lithuania
  • Suez (director Martynas Norvaišas, producer Ieva Černiauskaitė), Lithuania
  • Tears of Stardust (director Vilma Razmutė, producer Giedrė Burokaitė), Lithuania

The Baltic Producers Jury, consisting of three experienced producers from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, will select the Best Short Film Project and award it with Baltic Producers MEDIA Award – 1000 EUR cash prize. ​​

Baltic Pitching Forum is organized by the Lithuanian Short Film Agency “Lithuanian Shorts”, which is financed by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, in association with the Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS, Riga International Film Festival and PÖFF Shorts (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival).

The project is financed by the Lithuanian Film Centre, Audiovisual Works Copyright Association “AVAKA” and Vilnius City Municipality. Partners – Creative Europe MEDIA Desks in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Croatia, Italian Short Film Center and Vilnius Film Office.
