3D Character Animation profesionalni je program obuke za filmske profesionalce u animaciji fokusiran na unapređivanje njihovih vještina 3D animacije.
Sudionici programa imat će priliku učiti od aktivnih profesionalaca u nevjerojatno kreativnom okruženju i razvijati svoje tehničke i umjetničke 3D vještine, a sve u sklopu niza predavanja, zadataka i mini produkcija u području 3D animacije likova – od koncepta do savršenstva.
Pod nadzorom stručnjaka za animaciju polaznici će se upoznati sa softverom za modeliranje i animaciju Maya, a bit će mentorirani kroz niz vježbi osmišljenih za prijenos principa klasične 2D animacije na računalo i 3D platformu. Nastavni plan i program stavlja snažan fokus na razumijevanje tjelesne mehanike i fizičke radnje tijekom osnova animacije, postupno napredujući u sofisticiranije koncepte uključujući parkour i interakciju, a završava uvodom u animaciju četveronožnih stvorenja.
Program završava portfolio ispitom koji se sastoji od showreela sastavljenog od odrađenih vježbi. Osim toga, od polaznika će se tražiti da pripreme pisani rad kritički analizirajući i razmišljajući o svom procesu učenja.
3D Character Animation kombinira elemente programa "Osnove animacije 3" i "Napredna animacija" s BA studija animacije u kombinirani tečaj koji donosi ukupno 25 ECTS bodova. Na kraju tečaja ispitat će se svaki modul. Moguće je pridružiti se samo jednom od dva modula te platiti odgovarajuću naknadu samo za onaj tečaj koji se pohađa.
Program će se održati tijekom 10 tjedana (22. travnja – 27. lipnja 2025.) u Viborgu, Danska.
Prijave za 3D Character Animation odvijaju se putem poveznice. Rok za prijavu je 17. veljače 2025., a odabrani kandidati bit će o tome obaviješteni u roku od dva tjedna nakon završetka prijava.

3D Character Animation is a professional training programme for animation film professionals focused on advancing their 3D animation skills.
Programme participants will have the opportunity to learn from active professionals in an incredibly creative environment and develop their technical and artistic 3D skills, all through a series of lectures, assignments, and mini-productions in the field of 3D character animation - from concept to perfection.
Under the supervision of animation experts, participants will be introduced to the modelling and animation software Maya and will be mentored through a series of exercises designed to transfer the principles of classic 2D animation to the computer and 3D platform. The curriculum places a strong focus on understanding body mechanics and physical action throughout the basics of animation, gradually progressing to more sophisticated concepts including parkour and interaction, ending with an introduction to the animation of four-legged creatures.
The programme concludes with a portfolio exam consisting of a showreel composed of completed exercises. In addition, participants will be required to prepare a written paper, critically analysing and reflecting on their learning process.
3D Character Animation combines elements of the "Animation Basics 3" and "Advanced Animation" programmes from the BA Animation programme into a combined course that carries a total of 25 ECTS credits. At the end of the course, each module will be examined. It is possible to join only one of the two course modules and pay the corresponding fee only for the course you are attending.
The programme will take place over a period of 10 weeks (April 22 - June 27, 2025) in Viborg, Denmark.
